Biography

Craig’s legal practice is informed by his decade-worth of international dispute resolution experience for clients in the oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, transportation, and financial sectors. His experience has included investment treaty, commercial and construction arbitration before institutional and ad hoc international arbitral tribunals; commercial and civil litigation in federal and state courts; foreign judgment and arbitral award enforcement; and other legal issues involving sovereign immunity, sovereign debt recovery, economic sanctions, as well as those arising under public international law, including inter-State dispute settlement, international organizations practice, and international humanitarian and human rights law.

Prior to his legal qualification Craig assisted in the exoneration of a factually innocent defendant from death row. More recently Craig secured the release of an individual following 40+ years of incarceration.

Craig is licensed to practice in Washington, DC, Maryland, New York, and England and Wales. He previously worked in the Washington, DC, Doha and Singapore offices of Patton Boggs, an international law firm, and Allen & Overy, a British firm.
