Stephen Bluestone

Stephen Bluestone serves as Senior Legal Advisor at Bluestone, P.C., where he advises on the firm's major litigation and asset recovery matters and provides strategic guidance across its client relationships and international case management. Colleagues, clients, and local counsel alike draw on his decades of experience navigating disputes across borders and jurisdictions.

Stephen began his legal career in Washington, D.C. in 1971, building a practice over five decades in commercial litigation, asset recovery, and the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards. That experience informs his current counsel on international trust and conservatorship matters, an area in which he was repeatedly appointed by the Probate Division of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia to serve as counsel, conservator, or guardian. In 2005, North Dakota named him a Special Assistant Attorney General for an international asset recovery project that continued through 2008.
